The weather was similar to yesterday, foggy but with calm seas. Despite the low visibility, conditions allowed for sightings near the boats.
During the tours, we encountered two Humpback whales. One was seen north of Hjalteyri, while the other was Proppy, a familiar individual with distinctive dorsal fin scars. Proppy was spotted both in the morning and afternoon, first north and later south of the green buoy. She stayed in the area for a while, providing excellent viewing opportunities for our guests.

Sunny, moderate wind from south west turning in all directions - which makes some parts of the fjord a bit bumpy and some completely flat. We saw a Minke Whale North of Hjalteyri, Humpback Whale further towards Hauganes and few times we have been lucky to see Northern Bottlenose Whale pod, which happened to appear out of nowhere around the Green Buoy.

As the moon swells toward its fullest glow, something magical stirs in Eyjafjörður. With each tide it tugs a little stronger, drawing plankton closer to the surface and right behind them, our majestic ocean giants follow. These moonlit days have brought unforgettable moments on the fjord, and today was no exception. We were treated to an extraordinary gathering of whales—four different species in one breathtaking day!

We had a sunny day, although the wind gradually picked up as time passed. The first whale we spotted was a humpback whale, right by Pollurin. After that, we saw several more humpbacks south of the green buoy and near Hjalteyri.
We were also very lucky to witness a rare encounter: a group of at least seven northern bottlenose whales, an uncommon sight in these waters.

The day began with radiant sunshine and perfect sea conditions, ideal weather for whale watching in the fjord.
In the morning, we saw a shy Minke Whale, but the highlight came north of Hjalteyri, where up to four Humpback Whales approached our boat, offering unforgettable close encounters. One even breached several times, leaving everyone in awe. In the afternoon, we returned to the same area and spotted another Humpback Whale diving gracefully. Then, near Grenivík, we saw another individual breaching repeatedly and showing off its pectoral fins, an incredible sight that continued even as we left the area to be back on land.

There are few sights in nature as breathtaking as a humpback whale breaching the surface of the ocean, and we were lucky enough to witness just that. Towering above the waves, suspended for a moment in time before crashing back into the sea, it was a moment of awe, power, and pure magic.
On our latest ocean adventure, the humpback whale stole the show. These gentle giants, known for their acrobatics and hauntingly beautiful songs, treated us to an unforgettable performance. The photo captured here is more than just a snapshot, it's a memory of nature’s grandeur in full motion.

Light snow fell over the mighty mountains surrounding our beloved fjord in the days leading up to today; you can feel the crispness in the air, but that’s not going to stop us nor the whale that we got to spend time with!

This morning in the fjord near Pollurinn, we spotted a hungry Minke Whale surface feeding on small fish, with the prey visibly leaping from the water. Later, south of Hjalteyri, we encountered two relaxed Humpback Whales, one of which was "pecking" by slapping its pectoral fin on the surface.
