Cloudy day with some moderate northern wind in the fjord.
We started our tour with a hungry Minke Whale right here in Pollurinn. He was surface feeding and we could actually see the little fish jump and fly all over the place, that the Minke was feeding on. We left that guy and continued north where we encountered 2 Humpback Whales traveling together south of Hjalteyri, very slowly and relaxed. One of them started what I call “pecking”, Where the whale slaps with its pectoral fin on the water.
On the third picture you can see some orange dots and if you look closer you’ll see those are Sea Lice.
Two great shows in the morning already.
