Today we spotted two minke whales by Svalbarðseyri and a humpback whale, Dissy, northeast of Hauganes in the calm and sunny Eyjafjörður.

We saw humpback whales near Svalbarðseyri, south of Hjalteyri and north of Hrisey, as well as a minke whale between Svalbarðseyri and the green buoy, with a spectacular close encounter with our old friend Piccolo. 🐋✨

Amazing day in the fjord! Flat sea, sunny, few humpbacks and few minkes, harbor porpoises and active marine birds!

Humpback Disy is back in the fjord! Few minkes and a few pods of playful harbor porpoises! Nice flat fjord and we even saw pufflings! :)
