The morning started with super flat seas and partly clouded skies, as we went out we spotted a few Harbour porpoises at Svalbarðseyri, then we decided to continue exploring our fjord until at Strytan we found our well known Humpback whale Disy. It seemed like Disy was resting at the surface, coming up for a few breaths and then going for more shallower dives. After a very close encounter we decided to move around the area of the green buoy, and all of a sudden another Humpback whale popped up for two breaths and a shallow dive. On our way back even the sun came out! In the office these whales were identified as Dissy and Iskona both eyjafjordur legends.
