Humpback Bob, porpoises and minkes in the fjord today!

Morning: We spotted two minke whales north of Svalbarðseyri and near Hjalteyri, followed by two humpback whales near Grenivík and Gísláín, one of which surfaced very close to the boat.

Afternoon: East of Hrísey, we encountered a friendly humpback whale that approached the boat several times and delighted us with exceptional close-up views.

Today we have seen one Humpback whale, minke whales and harbour porpoises.

We sailed north of Hjalteyri, where we encountered several Humpback Whales throughout the tour. One whale came very close to the boat multiple times, giving us excellent views of its impressive fluke and beautiful surfacing behaviour. On our way back to the harbour, we were also lucky enough to spot a small group of Harbour Porpoises.

A windy and rainy day but we still manage to have an amazing time watching the whales!

Cloudy and cold day in the fjord. We have seen one humpback whale , one minke whale and few harbour porpoises by the town of Hjalteyri.

Today in Eyjafjörður, we encountered several minke whales, a humpback whale, and a group of harbour porpoises, with sightings stretching from Svalbarðseyri to south of Hrísey. One of the highlights of the day was a spectacular breaching minke whale on our way back to the harbour.
