Hello everyone!

Today, we woke up to cloudy skies and not much wind, but as the day went on, the skies cleared and we were finally able to see the sun again after a few days.

On the morning tour, we headed to Hjalteyri to find one of our favourite Humpback whales, Bob! On the way there, however, we were rewarded with sightings of two Minke whales. One of them stayed very close to us for quite a long time, making all of our guests very happy.

As for Bob, this humpback whale is well known for his friendly character, and we were very lucky when he decided to come up close to the boat. Without even moving the boat, we were able to watch him go for a dive right beside us. What a magical moment!

In the afternoon, we sailed past Hjalteyri and, to our surprise, a group of Harbour porpoises appeared right in front of us, almost jumping out of the water. We always love seeing these cute little porpoises. Finding other species was a bit more difficult on this tour; however, near Strytan we spotted two Minke whales swimming together. One was much smaller than the other, so it could have been a mother and calf.

We hope the fjord continues to fill with even more wildlife for everyone to enjoy, just as we did today.

See you tomorrow!
