Overcasted sky but joyful day in the fjord! We found 1 humpback whale, called Tripod, in the morning, just north of Svalbarðseyri and had a great tour watching it raising its majestic fluke while going for deep dives.
On the afternoon tours, we spotted our 1st humpback whale, SE of green buoy. Whale, named Popeye, was coming toward the boat and surfacing super close to us! We even smelled a bit of its fishy breath and saw all the details on its body! After that amazing time with Popeye, we headed out more north. Just north of green buoy, we found 2 more humpbacks, as well as a super cute smaller pod of around 4 harbour porpoises! Both humpbacks, Morigan & Tripod, were feeding in deep water so showing us their majestic tails! On the way back, we passed by another, 4th, humpback as well as a bigger pod of at least 8 harbour porpoises! Porpoises were super cute and we were lucky they were coming toward us and showing quite a bit of their bodies above sea surface!

We also spotted few cool bird species today: beautiful Long-tailed ducks, chicks of Black guillemots and Greylag geese.
