Despite quite of wind, a bit of swell and choppy sea, we had a beautiful day watching the whales today!
Unfortunately, the conditions were too rough for our speed boats, but we went out with our bigger boat on our classic tours.
On boat of the tours we were enjoying observing 5-6 humpback whales, feeding all around our boat, just south-east of Hjalteyri. They were performing deep dives, so we were lucky to see all their beautiful flukes rising high above surface.

On our morning tour, we also got a nice surprise of a big minke whale, that surfaced up few times very close to our boat, just south of green buoy.

We were also blessed with few gorgeous rainbows on both of our tours! <3
