The day began with a southern wind and a wavy sea, but the sun was shining! Once again, we were lucky to share the day with Humpback whales. Around 5 individuals were spotted between the green buoy and north of Hjalteyri, including two familiar flukes: Shadow and Disy.

By the afternoon, the wind had softened and the sea became calmer. We found 4 Humpbacks between the green buoy and Hjalteyri. We also had a very close encounter to our boat, when one of them appeared first on our left and then fluked on our right!
