The morning was still cloudy with a few rain drops. It cleared up in the early afternoon, and we finally got the sun back, at least for the rest of the day. Sea conditions were great with a light south easterly breeze.
On the first tour we started by checking out the waterfall before we headed further out. But early on we spotted a minke whale at Krossness. Then we kept heading further out watching another minke whale lunge feeding. After that we continued further north where we found a Humpback Whale, we call him Proppy and have been. In total we saw 5 Minke whales at the end and one Humpback south east of Strytan.
In the afternoon we saw plenty more minke lunge feeding. Only a few meters in front of us. Since it was very calm, we could hear the splashes the whale made. The most unreal experience.
We also found Proppy again a little further north next to Hjalteyri, where he seemed to be resting.
