It looks like summer is here. Today we had the most amazing blue skyes troughout the day and a perfect flat fjord for spotting in the distance. Full of birds and whale we have been amazed all day. During the morning tours we found 1 Humpback whale and 1 Minke whale, right outside of Potllurin. Left of the hot whater waterfall. After spending a veri nice long time with these two we sailed further north were we found another minke whale North of Svalbarðseyri and a lot of Harbour porpoises all around the fjord. During the afternoon tours the action didn’t stop. We found 1 Minke whale South of Svalbarðseyri coming so close to the boat that we could see it’s white pectoral fin under the water. But on the distance we saw a large blow which took us to the North of Svalbarðseyri, were wo found not only a Humpback whale but also another Minke whale.
