Today’s whale watching trip from Akureyri was a calm experience. The weather was cloudy but settled, creating a peaceful atmosphere out on the water.

We were lucky to see a variety of wildlife. At the green buoy, a Humpback whale surfaced alongside two Minke whales, while in Raudavík we encountered four more Humpbacks. Harbour porpoises were also around in good numbers, appearing close to the boat throughout the tour.

Each sighting offered a quiet moment to appreciate these animals in their natural environment, and we enjoyed close but gentle encounters with all the species. It was a wonderful way to spend time on the fjord.
