Today was mostly sunny with some passing clouds. In the morning we had a light breeze from the southwest, but it calmed down by the afternoon, which allowed us to run both tours, morning and afternoon. Going out to search for whales and share these encounters with you is what we love most.

In the morning, we sailed between the Green buoy and Hjalteyri, staying quite close to the buoy. There we encountered two humpback whales we’ve been spotting regularly these past days. They were calm, cooperative, and wonderful to watch, giving our passengers a truly memorable experience.

In the afternoon, we traveled farther out, near Grenivík, and it was well worth it. We met three Humpback whales, including two we know very well: Dissy and Bob. Bob was spectacular today, living up to his nickname, “Bob the Legend,” given by our guides and captains. All in all, it was an incredible day on the water. Let’s see what tomorrow brings!
