Today was a beautiful day for whale watching, calm seas, no wind, no rain, and just a few clouds occasionally covering the sun.
In the morning, we arrived in Hjalteyri after spotting a blow, and soon more appeared. Suddenly, we realized there were several Humpback whales in the same area, around four to six in total. They were busy feeding, surfacing regularly, and showing their tails as they dove for deeper waters to go for fish. A wonderful start to the day, let’s see what the afternoon brings!
And the afternoon? Just as incredible as the morning! The Humpback whales kept us entertained with the same spectacular feeding activity, making it an unforgettable day from start to finish.
