The second day of snow on the mountains and we had a very crispy and cold day. In the morning we had some sun, but the rest of the day was cloudy with some rain.
The Humpback whales were quite far out in the fjord. We had to go north of Hjalteryi to find our first Humpback whale. It was very active and moved around a lot, but came up right next to the boat a couple of times and gave us really nice encounters. A bit further north, by Grenivik, we found another Humpback whale which was feeding. It was staying in the same area the whole time, were up on the surface for a long time and gave us some really nice and close encounters.
In the afternoon we were with the first Humpback whale from the morning tour, it was Bob, a whale that we spotted several times in the fiord this summer, it was very nice and it showed the tail always. Is Bob going to be longer time in the fiord?
