Welcome to our daily post,
this morning we have had a decent Icelandic weather, 10°C, light breeze and cloudy with the sun peaking out every now and then.

We had been looking at 2 Humpback Whales north east of Hjalteyri, later we found one more North of them and on the way back another Humpback east of Green Buoy, that adds up to four different Humpbacks. We are hoping to keep seeing such a large number of whales. One of the whales was Disy, which has been these days reliably showing off her dramatic overfluked dive.

During our evening tours even though we still had some clouds, it turned into a completely windless fjord and a mirror like water surface that allowed us to enjoy 2 Humpback whales from S Hjalteyri were we found Disy feeding to the NE of Hjalteyri and one of the minke whale.

Leaving us with a total of 5 different Humpback whales trough out the day!
