We started the day with another amazing morning in our beautiful and sunny Eyjafjordur. During the morning tours we were lucky enough to encounter our first Humpback whale feeding. She was South of Hjalteyri and even though the feeding frensy was making the whale change direction often, she was always close by so we decided to turn of our engines and we were just floating with the amazing sound of the whale breathing around us. After a while we left the whale behind so she could keep feeding freely and just next to Hjalteyri there was a sneaky Minke whale. We couldent stay long because it had the turbo on but this Minke lead us to a 2nd Humpback Whale just East of Hjalteyri.

In the afternoon, we found the same two Humpback whales on the North East of Hjalteyri. The wind had picked up a little but we got great sighting and got to spend about 40 min with each of them.
