Whale hello there! One day more, we departed from a very sunny Akureyri into a slightly windy Fjord.

But since we all know the whales don’t mind the weather, there they were having a nice breakfast between Hjalteyri and Rauðavík. And what a treat it was, we were able to see the fully extended ventral plates of the feeding Humpbacks. Over all we saw 3 Humpback whales in the morning.

For the afternoon tours the whales were still feeding but in different areas and we got to see also 3 Humpbacks, however 2 were S Hjalteyri, and the 3rd was E of Hjalteyri.
