Today, a partly cloudy sky and -3 degrees Celsius greeted us in the morning, with the sun starting to rise behind the mountains.

Today, we had our fill of humpback whales, spotting up to 7 on the tour. But not all of them were together. First, we encountered 2 Humpbacks very relaxed N of the Hot water waterfall, and after a bit, we left them to enjoy their nap time as we had spotted more blows in the distance. Next to Svalbarðseyri, we found 2 whales, but these two were travelling together very synchronously. And this all was topped up by the distant slashing of a Humpback breaching. SO we moved close to Dagvarðeyri where we found 3 more Humpback whales, a couple together and a 3r one by itself.
