Today we had a completely clear sky in Eyjafjörður, but the wind definitely picked up and ended up being very strong by the end of our tour. Because of the wind, we had some consistent waves throughout the day. What you know the whales really like wavy days… Because what we got to see was a festival of tail troughing from our favourite couple of Humpback whales, Noxy and Ryder. But this was only towards the end. The Day in fact, started with a group of 4 Humpback whales together swimming in a small group, and a 5th one in the distance. The group of 4 was in the area of DTK, and the 5th whale was closer to Svalbarðseyri.
Unfortunately, today we did not manage to take any pictures on the tour.
