We sailed out from a partly cloudy sky in Akureyri into a very smooth, mirror-like fjord. Since the easter wind started to pick up, the water got a bit choppy. As we slowly travelled in search of some lovely whales, we spotted a distant blow to the E of Hjalteyri where we found our dear friend Piccolo, the Humpback whale. Staying fairly close to us continuously as we floated on the fjord with our engines off, enjoying the company and the view.
