We were greeted today by a mirror-like fjord and a partly cloudy sky. As usual, we sailed north in search of some wildlife. In contrast to past days, today we had to sail a little but further up to the way of E Hauganaes. In that area, we found a spectacle of 5 Humpback whales feeding. Needless to say, since the whales were feeding, we didn’t have to wait such a long time for them to come back to the water. And there we were in between blows and tails, drifting with our engine off.
But that was not it, since on our way back home, in Rauðavík, we were surprised by a Minke whale surfacing right next to us for one more goodbye.
