Another delightful fall day with a whale soup in Eyjafjöðdur.

Today, our sightings started with a sneaky Minke Whale N of the Green buoy. However, we kept sailing north to reach our destination as soon as possible. And there they were, our beloved Humpback whales. It is difficult to estimate the total number of whales, since there were blows as far as the eye can see, all of them spread long and wide between Hrísey, Hauganes, and Grenevík. But in proximity to us, we managed to count at least 9 Humpback Whales in the morning tour and 8 different ones in the afternoon!
