Beautiful glassy day today. The fjord was completely flat, no wind and a bit of sun.
On all tours today, we were out at Hauganes, which is still one of the hotspots for the humpback whales. We had around four humpback whales out there, lazily feeding and giving us some amazing encounters. A minke whale was also hanging around Svalbardseyri, and a pod of around 10 harbour porpoises was spotted south of Hjalteri together with a 2nd Minke whale. Usually, we only see one or two harbour porpoises at a time, and they quickly disappear. This pod was up at the surface for a long time and was really nice to follow.
