Today was a little bit rocky in the bay due to the wind but the sun came out a lot to warm us all up. During the day we had various encounters with the humpback whale Guillemot. We also spotted a pair of humpbacks that were together during the whole day. They swam close to each other most of the times and synchronized their dives. A number of times they even approached the boat so we could see them close up and follow them under the water. It was really beautiful. We also got a bit of surprise during the afternoon tour, we spotted a minke whale in the fjord. We do not often see minke whales in Eyjafjord so it was very nice to be able to show this species of whale to the passengers.
