The golden rule when trying to spot wildlife is trying to be patient. And lately, we have had to be so. Whale watching is not always easy, it can sometimes be very tricky. Whales have been appearing a long drive away from Akureyri, and certainly not very interested in boats, making our job much more difficult. But with patience, perseverance and positive attitude it has been working out quite well. We have seen a few tails of different whales, some of them very close from our boat.
