We saw a humpback whale near Hrísey, heading south, surfacing every five minutes to show its fluke before diving deep for 25 minutes, and we were lucky enough to catch glimpses of it two more times on our way back to the harbor.

We sailed around Hrísey in the northern part of our fjord and saw plenty of birds and beautiful landscape, but unfortunately no cetaceans.
But we are looking forward to welcome today’s passengers on board with us again in the future with their complimentary tickets!

We sailed in great weather conditions today, quite warm temperatures for March and calm seas and spotted a blow northeast of Hrísey, where we spotted one Humpback Whale!

We had an unforgettable whale-watching experience southeast of Hrísey, where we saw a humpback whale surface multiple times, allowing us to witness its immense size and impressive pectoral fins up close.

We sailed northeast of Hrisey, where we spotted a humpback whale surfacing multiple times, showing its fluke during a deep dive and later arching its body before resurfacing for a shallower dive.

Despite our best efforts and the beautiful sights along the way, we didn't spot any cetaceans today, but we remain hopeful and excited for the opportunity to meet them tomorrow, as nature always has more to offer.

Today, we witnessed the serene beauty of a calm lake with birds soaring overhead, playful harbor porpoises swimming nearby, and a majestic humpback whale gracefully diving into the deep ocean.

Today we searched diligently for whales throughout the fjord, but unfortunately, we didn’t spot any today – it reminded us that nature has its own rules, and we’re hopeful we’ll have better luck tomorrow.

Today we saw birds and Bearded seal peacefully resting on the floating ice, surrounded by the calm, mirror-like waters of the fjord, creating a breathtaking natural scene. Although we put a lot of effort into searching for whales, we didn’t have any luck today, but we’re looking forward to tomorrow’s adventure.

We were fortunate to spot a curious Bearded Seal near the floating pier and later glimpsed harbor porpoises.

Moderate wind in the beginning, later it calmed down. Sunny throughout the whole journey. Unfortunately no whales spotted today.

We sailed through the stunning fjords north of Hrísey, searching for whales, but unfortunately, we didn't have any sightings and ended the day excited and hopeful for what tomorrow might bring.
