Today, we were treated to an unforgettable sight as we witnessed three humpback whales, including our old friend Piccolo, gracefully surfacing and diving together in the serene waters of the fjord.

That day, we sailed through calm waters and were treated to an unforgettable sight as two humpback whales, including our friend Piccolo, approached and swam close to our boat, accompanied by a playful group of white-beaked dolphins.

Today, we spotted three Humpback Whales southeast of Hrísey and a few Harbor Porpoises north of Akureyri!

We spotted a lot of Harbor Porpoises around Svalbarðseyri and as we were stopped to look at them, one Humpback Whale joined as well! The calm weather conditions made for great spotting conditions and we repeatedly saw the porpoises again while watching the Humpback.

Just south of Svalbardseyri, we spotted a Humpback Whale rolling on its side, most likely surface feeding. We could see one whole pectoral fin and half the fluke come out of the water. After that encounter the Whale has been very close around us.

Today, with a pleasant +8°C temperature and calm fjord waters, we first spotted adorable harbor porpoises alongside the boat, then saw Piccolo, the humpback whale, surfacing on both the west and east sides of the fjord near Svalbarðseyri.

On a chilly 3°C morning with a gentle south breeze, we sailed out and after a brief wait, we were rewarded with stunning sightings of our friend Humpback Whale, ,,Piccolo,, ,a whale feeding nearby, regularly showing its beautiful white fluke for all to admire.

We had an amazing day on the water, starting with Piccolo, the humpback whale, rolling on the surface near the Svalbarðseyri giving us incredible views of its pectoral fins, belly, and fluke. We also spotted a group of harbor porpoises swimming calmly near the boat, including some babies, before making our way back to the harbor where Piccolo surprised us once more at the entrance to the fishing harbor.

Once again, we spotted Piccolo, the Humpback Whale which seems to become a regular in our harbor of Akureyri!

It was an unforgettable day on the water, where we witnessed the majestic humpback whale, Piccolo, feeding up close, showcasing its massive head, ventral grooves, pectoral fins, and fluke. We also had the chance to see a peaceful bearded seal resting on the ice at Pollurinn Harbor, adding the perfect touch to an already incredible experience.

Piccolo, the Humpback Whale which we have seen on many of our recent tours, was once again in Pollurinn today. Additionally, we spotted one pod of Harbor Porpoises by Svalbarðseyri while having super sunny and calm weather conditions.

Today, we spotted our well-known Humpback Whale Piccolo inside Akureyri’s harbor area, Pollurinn! We witnessed active lunge feeding of a very curious whale.

Today, we spotted Piccolo, the humpback whale, right from our office window as we sailed toward the Pollurinn Harbor.

Today, we saw our friend Picolo, the humpback whale, surface for a breath before diving again, followed by a group of harbor porpoises, and Picolo even reappeared later to feed near the surface, giving us a close-up view of his long pectoral fins.

Today, amidst the fog, we encountered southeast of Hrisey a playful pod of 25-30 White- beaked dolphins and had a close encounter with a magnificent humpback whale, which surfaced near our boat and showed us its beautiful fluke."
