What a day to be out on the fjord! It was fairly flat and only slightly chilly but this did not worry us in the slightest. After only a 12 minute sail we started to see the large blows and arching backs of the eyjafjörður humpbacks. We watched whale after whale surface all around us at varying distances and a few individuals came only a few meters away at times it was really incredible! Four whales even surfaced together but in all different directions and another four were seen throughout the tour making a grand total of 8 whales! Some of our regulars were back on top form including Frankenstein, Awesome fluker, Needle & King Louis.
