A cold north wind cut through us on the morning tour. Luckily for the guests warm overalls were provided and hot chocolates were served. It wasn’t a long journey through the bitter wind only 30 minutes sail to the south of Hjatleryi (are you getting déjà-vu) brought us the flukes of three Humpback whales.

In the afternoon the wind picked up further, but the sun came out so it was much more pleasant. We were blessed with sightings of 5 humpback whales, south of Hjalteyri, of which only 1 we saw on previous tour! One of the younger whales passed us by super close we could see all the little details on its head, snout and beautiful fluke!

Amazing days!
