It was a clear day until later in the afternoon, when a few clouds rolled in. The fjord was calmer than expected. It was only choppy at the exposed area from Öxnadalur. In that area, where the buoy is, we found a Minke Whale, but he was hard to follow around due to the conditions. Fortunately we noticed the fjord filling up more and more again with Humpback Whales. We saw 5 in the area from north and east Hjalteyri up to Raudavik. All in different spots, but still close. We even saw some brand new ones, which we have to check in our blog, if we know them already.
