The most amazing sunny day and blue skies greeted us today. Despite the cold weather, it looked like we were flying through the sky, as the mirror-like surface of the fjord reflected the sky perfectly. Our first sighting was of a Minke whale north of Hjalteyri, at a distance. Thanks to the stunningly clear view, we also spotted two blows south of Grenevík, which led us to two Humpback whales.
