Whale hello there. Today we had a choppy and cold rainy day as we sailed out into the fjord. Our first encounter was a Minke whale North of Hjalteyri, but since it was diving for a ling tome we decided to sail a bit more south in search of something larger. And we did, we found a quite large Minke whale between Hjalteyri and the green buoy, but just behind this Minke, close to Strýtan, we saw a fluke going down. When we headed over that area, we didn’t find only one but two Humpback whales! And one of them was our long-time friend Proppy! who we haven’t seen since July 2025. So it indeed brought up the excitement in all of us.
