It appears that the crazy Spring weather is finally starting to hit us. Temperatures are changing overnight, but this morning, a small -3 degree SE breeze accompanied us when we departed from Akureyri. At the beginning of the tour, the fjord was very flat, so we had ideal spotting conditions. South of Hjalteyri, we found the Humpback whale Ryder feeding right in front of us. Needless to say, it was a sight to be seen. As the tour advanced, the wind picked up and so did the waves, but we left with a simle in our face.
