Today, we headed out from a snowy Akureyri into a fjord filled by the northern wing. This made the temperatures drop compared to the past days and gave us a quite choppy tour. But as you know, the whales don’t mind the weather.
We found Ryder, the Humpback whale, feeding North of Hjalteyri. It was quite wavy because of the northern wind, so today we got to experience the real wild Iceland. But with our captain's expert skill, we only got a bit wet from the splash of the waves while we enjoyed the company of the whale.
