Hi everyone!

Grey and rainy day in Akureyri today but that does not stop us from seeing some nice whales.

We headed North as usual and spotted our first blow South of Hjalteyri. It was white fang, the humpbaclk whale. Shortly after, two more humpbacks surfaced 5 meter away from our boat, what a sighting! We were not moving, the whale just wanted to check us out, wonderful!

We could see 2 more blows within 500 meters distance but we decided to not move since 3 whales could surface close by at any moment. We then had to turn around after so many sightings.

Unfortunately, the wind is picking up so we decided to cancel the afternoon departures.
