Happy day everyone!
Hope you are having a whale of a time!
Today again, we found our boat covered with snow, but the rain came in and cleared the sceneries a bit. There was barely any wind today, so we did not suffer from cold for being wet.
We spotted our first blow between Hjalteyri and green bouey. When the first humpback whale went down, another Humpback came up right next top it. We enjoy the sightings for a while with our engine off. Even a minke whale came next to the boat! We then headed back South, where we met our express tour also with a Humpback whale before heading back to the harbor.
This afternoon we found even more Humpbacks. It was difficult to count them because of their movements, but I assume it was 5 or 6. It also stopped raining, and the sea became a mirror. This time most of the Humpbacks were around Hjalteyri.
