Ahoy, and good day to you all. Today we departed on another cloudless day. Today, the wind was mild, so it brought a bit of choppy waves. But it was still a very nice day. Our first encounter was South of Svalbarðseyri with one beautiful Humpback whale (Elise). But we didn’t stay long in the area since we spotted some more blows at a distance. South of Hjalteyri, we spotted three humpback whales, two in a pair and one swimming nearby. But that was not it because on the way back, close to the Green Buoi, we also spotted 2 more Humpback whales, and these two are new in the fjord!

So the sum for us was 6 Humpback whales and tons of birds flying around us.
