Today’s whale watching adventure brought us perfect conditions to be out at sea. The weather was sunny with just a few clouds drifting by, and while a moderate wind accompanied us at first, it soon calmed completely, leaving the ocean still. Further out we met some swell, adding to the feeling of being truly out on the open water. The highlight, of course, was the whales – around Grenivík and Hauganes we encountered about six Humpback whales, surfacing gracefully and giving us unforgettable moments.
