Today’s sailing adventure was nothing short of magical, with the perfect weather conditions for a day on the water. The lake-like surface of the sea was calm. Birds were resting on the water, adding to the serene beauty of the scene. The morning tour was quite sunny. We found our first Humpback whale north of Hjalteyri. We then saw a Minke whale launch feeding near Raudavik. We ended the tour with another Humpback whale, heading south at around 5 knots, taking regular breaths at the surface. We started heading back when the rain started slowly.
In the afternoon, we found the whale next to Raudavik again, it was Disy, the humpback whale. It was very nice to hang out with, as it showed nice flukes every 5 minutes.
