What a beautiful way to start this month of September! This morning was beautiful, with a bit of wind.
We sail out for our first tour and quickly find a Humpback whale next to the green bouey. We found a few more Humpback whales before Hjalteyri. They were moving a lot, looking for a group of schooling fish for their meal. We even got a breaching Humpback. It came once all the way out of the water.
The afternoon tour was quite similar whale-wise and weather-wise, but we started our tour by meeting up with a Minke whale south of the green bouey. We then found a few humpbacks, and we even had one breaching right in front of the boat.
