A bit of an overcast shifting occasionaly into sunny moments as the clouds are swimming on the sky slowly. We have had a very calm sea this morning and that made our tours somewhat magical.

Not only the weather plays in our cards but also 3 different species were already spotted today. Count in the biggest guys - Humpback Whales, two of them by Hjalteyri, 1 Minke Whale around North of Svalbarðseyri towards green buoy and at last we got to see a pod of Harbour Porpoises hunting for some juicy fish. It has been a good time we have had so far, so let’s see how the story unfolds this afternoon. Stay tunned for updates.

And it didn’t disappoint! Although the wind picked up slightly in the afternoon, conditions remained good enough to head back out. Once again, a Humpback Whale near Hjalteyri put on a show, diving and displaying its fluke just like in the morning. Meanwhile, a RIB boat spotted another Humpback southeast of Hrísey. This one was on the move, heading north with shallow dives and no fluke display, maintaining a steady course.
