Another Fantastic day to be a whale watcher!

Today started very well, with many whales spotted around the green bouey during the morning Express tour. We stopped the boat and enjoyed a feeding frenzy with 5/6 Humpback whales circling around us for a while. On our way back we were lucky enough to spot a Minke whale and a group of Harbor porpoise before Svalbarðseyri. Also, a stop by Heitifoss allowed us to admire the seagull and northern fulmar nesting on the cliff.

In the afternoon, the wind changed direction and picked up a bit, but it did not stop us from meeting with the whales and enjoying the show during our classic tour. The Humpback whales were at the same spot, the green bouey, enjoying the sea food buffet. We counted 5 whales but we could see many more blows by Hjalteyri. The group of whales sprayed out, so we enjoyed the company of 3 beautiful Humpback whales before going back to the harbor.
