The sunny weather seems to have left our fjord for now. We had both rain and wind but that did not stop the Humpback Whales from giving us an amazing show.

We had just sailed past Svalbarðseyri when we found our first two Humpback Whales for the day. They were quite active and was moving south, chasing after some nice krill. One of the Humpback Whales was even doing some lunge feeding, putting the bigger part of its head out of the water.

In the afternoon we found even more Humpback Whales in the fjord. The two Humpback Whales from the morning was still by Svalbarðseyri, another Humpback Whale was east of the green bouy, and two Humpback Whales were north of Hjalteyri. Even if Humpback Whales are solitary whales the two up by Hjalteyri was clearly traveling together, going down and coming up at almost the same time.
