The morning started with fog as well as a bit of rain and swell out at sea. In the afternoon it turned into a beautiful day with the sun coming through the clouds and a calmer sea.

On our morning tours we had beautiful encounters with Humpback Whales north of Hjalteyri. They can really close to our RIB boats and also showed their flukes multiple times. We stayed mostly with two different Humpback Whales but we had two others further away. We also got a nice visit from a pod of Harbor Porpoises which were very curious and came very close.

In the afternoon we had the Humpback Whales in the same area and putting on another amazing show, and this time we also got a really beautiful encounter with a Minke Whale busy feeding around the boat.

It was another great day in the office.
