Today we found our Humpback whales quite close to Akureyri, under a very snowy and dark sky, yet a completely flat fjord.
Piccolo and Darcy were calmly swimming S of Svalbarðseyri close by a large flock of feeding birds. On our fish finder, we could see there was a large number of fish in the area. This became clear when a feeding minke whale also made its appearance, and even a checky Harbour seal surfaced right in front of us in the area.
