It seems to be the theme now this month to have dozens of Whales just south of or around Hjalteyri. Today was just the same. We counted 2 Minke Whales, 16 Humpback whales and some Harbour Porpoises too. The sea was glassy, and the air was crisp. Visibility was poor in Akureyri, but once we got to the whales, it cleared up nicely with some sunshine coming through also.
