Temperatures are rising slightly in the fjord, which means that today we started our tours with light fog coming from the contrast between the air and the water temperatures.

But as we sailed off the harbour, the fog started lifting, leaving us with the most beautiful sunny day and a flat fjord.

We made our way slowly towards the north, and S of Hjaltery, we found even more whales than yesterday. Of course, they were not all together but spread wide from the green buoy to Hjalteyri. And as unbelievable as it sounds, we had up to 17 Humpback whales around us, maybe even more. But since not all of them wanted to show us the fluck, our most accurate count was 17 individuals. It was indeed a whaletastic day.
