We sailed out from a rainy and fogy Akureyri into a very smooth, mirror-like fjord. As we slowly travelled in search of some lovely whales, we quickly started spotting some blows just behind the green buoy.
We were stopped by 5 Humpback whales surfacing everywhere around us. Feeding and surfacing quite close. When we had our fill of these lovely whales, we sailed further east and close to Sindrifoss, where we found a sneaky Minke whale. But that was not all, since we also managed to see a small pod of Harbour porpoises on our way back home. Despite the rain, we had the most wonderful tour.
