What a beautiful day. Sunshine all day. Zero wind. Flat sea. Plenty of humpback and minke whales, and even some harbour porpoises.

In the morning, we went north. Back to the area around Hauganes. It remains a hotspot for the humpbacks. At least five humpback whales were out there feeding. Moving slowly around the same area. Sometimes coming up really close to our boat, and you really understand how impressively big they are.

In the afternoon, we just wanted to get back out there. But before we got there, we came across three minke whales just north of Hjalteryi. Usually, we only see one minke in an area, but here we had three. Must have been a lot of food. Back out outside Haguanes, the humpbacks were still hanging around, giving us just a good show as this morning.
